During the microneedling procedure, most clients experience minimal discomfort. To ensure your comfort, we apply a topical numbing cream to the treatment area before starting. This helps numb the skin, reducing any pain or irritation. You may feel a slight tingling or sensation of pressure, but it’s generally well-tolerated. While some improvement may be visible immediately after the procedure, the full benefits of microneedling typically become noticeable in about 4 to 6 weeks as your skin starts to heal and produce collagen. For optimal results, multiple sessions may be recommended, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. We’ll discuss a treatment plan tailored to your specific goals during your consultation. 

After a microneedling treatment, you may experience some redness and slight swelling, similar to a mild sunburn, which usually subsides within 24 to 48 hours. Your skin might feel dry and tight as it heals, and light flaking can occur as the skin rejuvenates. Most clients are able to return to their normal activities the next day, but we recommend avoiding sun exposure, intense workouts, and harsh skincare products for a few days to ensure the best results

Typically, clients start seeing noticeable results after one to two PRP treatments. However, depending on your skin concerns and goals, we often recommend a series of 2 to 3 treatments spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart for optimal results. After your initial sessions, maintenance treatments can be done every 6 to 12 months to keep your skin looking refreshed and rejuvenated.

PRP is considered very safe because it uses your own blood, so there’s no risk of allergic reactions or rejection. However, as with any procedure, there may be minor side effects like redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites. These typically resolve within a few days.
